ARE THESE CLOTHES VINTAGE?
Some of them, yes. At RÉCUPÉRER all garments have a past story and we are focused on giving them a new one. We carefully source garments in secondhand markets and deadstocks around the world. The denim we use in our collections comes from vintage, second-hand or deadstock jeans and jackets. The rest of the collection is made from either vintage items, such as scarves or shirts that we transform in different items or simply deadstock fabrics coming from shops that sell exclusively deadstock or from factories.
HOW DO I PICK THE CORRECT SIZE?
Each product page has a Size Guide button – including the measurements, fitting tips and care Instructions to make sure everything fits perfectly and you having a great experience with our products. We also offer the possibility to have the product customed made to your measurements. CAN I RETURN?
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Also, if the 14 days term expires in a non-working day, it is your right to send your return the next working-day. If your order arrives late to our warehouse due to shipping process, we will accept the return. Customers are required to pay the cost of return shipping.For further details please check our Return Policy.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
RÉCUPÉRER is a brand based in Romania, therefore we ship nationally free of charge for orders over 150 euros. Outside Romania, we ship only to EU countries with 20 € shipping charges. You can find a complete list of the countries we ship to in our Shipping Policy.

HOW MUCH DOES THE SHIPPING COST?
Romania: free of charge for orders over 150 euros.
European Union countries: 20 €.
For orders from non-EU countries please contact us, and our team will guide you through the whole process. For deliveries outside of EU mainland there could be custom charges, depending on the custom law of each territory.
WHERE IS MY ORDER?
Once you’ve completed your order, you will receive an email with the confirmation of your order and the tracking number when your order has been dispatched. You can track your orders by accessing Fan Courier Tracking (https://www.fancourier.ro/en/) for Romania, or Poșta Română (https://www.posta-romana.ro/en/track-trace.html) for EU.
HOW FAST WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
We believe in slow approach and never over-produce to stock extra inventory. Please be aware that our garments may not all be available in stock and that it might take different time and effort to make. We promise to deliver your order within 10 days or you will be informed otherwise.
ARE THERE ANY CUSTOMS OR IMPORT CHARGES?
Shipments within EU aren’t subject to any customs or import charges, but each territory works differently according to customs law.
Orders are shipped from Romania. Orders shipped to the locations within the European Union & Norway have VAT included within the order total at the checkout. No other taxes or duties will be due.
Orders shipped to countries outside the European Union will be shipped Delivery Duties Unpaid (DAP). Any charges on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel.
Orders shipped to non-European Union countries, will incur taxes and duties, payable by the customer, upon delivery. RECUPERER has no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount. RECUPERER does not cover or reimburse any fees charged by a third party. Please be aware of your local currency conversion rates when calculating the value of your order. Prices quoted on the website are in € EUR.
If you order from outside of the European Union, you become an importer and become liable to Customs and Excise Duty as well as Value Added Tax (VAT) payments. For more information check Taxation and Customs Union
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I RECEIVE A FAULTY ITEM?
We are very sorry if you received a faulty item. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can solve the problem. In this case, we will cover the return cost. Although, every item at RÉCUPÉRER has a past story.
Please consider minor damages and imperfections as we believe these garments deserve to have a new story to tell.
As soon as you discover a fault, please contact our Customer Care Team, providing the following information:
- The order number
- The faulty item’s name and number
- A description of the fault
Please note that if your item has become faulty outside of the 14 days return time frame, you will no longer be able to process it through returns in My Account.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF AN ITEM IS MISSING FROM MY ORDER?
We are sorry there’s an item missing from your order. Before contacting our Customer Care Team, please check the following:
The items might be sent separately, please check your email if there is any mention that your items are arriving separately.
If your order has been sent in different parcels, then each delivery note will notify you about the items that you can find inside.
If an item is missing, please contact our Customer Care Team by providing the order number and the missing item’s number. We will try to solve this issue as soon as possible!
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I RECEIVE A WRONG ITEM?
We are sorry you received something you haven’t ordered. Please let us know, send it back to us and we will refund you as soon as it arrives back at our warehouse.
